Second Equipment Turn in

The second equipment return date for the SPGF Spring 2010 season will be held on Monday, July 12th from 6:00 to 7:00pm.
The return will be held at the field complex by the concessions stand at the Silver Quad. If you are unable to be there,
please make sure and send the equipment with someone else to return. Deposit checks will be cashed if equipment is not
returned by this date, or if you do not contact the Equipment Director by this date.

Coaches who are using the issued equipment for All Stars are welcome to keep it until after the All Star tournament,
but must notify the Equipment Director of this so that your deposit check is not cashed.

Equipment Return

Coaches,

It would be appreciated if you could return any equipment that has been checked out to you by the league while at Closing Ceremonies on June 22nd. The equipment return table will be located near the concessions stand at the same complex as closing ceremonies. It will be open from 6:15 to 6:45pm (must stop at this time to be with our own teams) and then again for about 20 minutes after Closing Ceremonies. Please do not drop off your bag if no one is at the table to check it in.

If you are unable to be at closing ceremonies, please send the equipment with another coach or parent from your team. Please remember to return all equipment that was issued to you so that we do not have to cash your deposit check.

If you are coaching an All Star team and would like to retain your equipment, please stop by the table and let us know that as well. There will be another return date for All Star coaches.

Closing Ceremonies

Closing ceremonies for the 2010 spring season will be tomorrow, June 22 at 7 pm on the Silver Quad on Field 4. Because of the overseeding, the regular areas around the concourse won’t be available to stand or sit. We are asking parents and families to bring lawn chairs so that we can seat you in the outfield. The ceremony should take just about an hour.

End of Season Touney Info for Pixie, MP, & 10U

Coaches and Parents,

The Machine and 10U End of Season tourneys will begin on June 15. The top six in Machine and top eight in 10U will compete in the tourney to determine placing. The tourney is double elimination and will play each day until Friday.

In Pixie, all teams will compete and the tourney will begin on Wednesday, June 16. The tourney will be single elimination.

Brackets for all tourneys will be posted Monday.

Closing Ceremonies

Many of you have been asking when closing ceremonies will be. The date has been set for Tuesday, June 22. This date is still TENTATIVE because any weather could delay it by a day or two but at this point, June 22nd is the day.

Several of you ordered spgf decals at the beginning of the season, I regret to tell you that those did not get ordered. There were seven orders paid for in advance. If you ordered one, send me an email to chrissnead29@gmail.com and we will take care of getting your refund.

If you ordered a T-shirt and paid for them and still haven’t picked them up from Cathy Barnhill, you can call her at 928-7370 and she will arrange to get them to you.
